About the position

The position involves coordinating physical changes to computer databases and codes, as well as testing and implementing physical databases. The role requires designing logical physical databases and coding database descriptions while specifying user access to these databases. A significant part of the job includes reviewing, testing, and correcting errors in the database systems. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for modifying database programs to enhance processing performance, utilizing technologies such as Oracle, Sybase, SQL, and other related tools. The individual will also be involved in and direct activities related to backup and restore processes, replication, clustering, and performance tuning of the databases. This position is critical in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of database systems within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate physical changes to computer databases and codes.
• Test and implement physical databases.
• Design logical physical databases.
• Code database descriptions and specify user access to databases.
• Review, test, and correct errors in database systems.
