About The Position

Carter BloodCare is seeking passionate individuals to join their team as Phlebotomists. This part-time position offers an opportunity to engage in life-saving work by collecting blood donations from donors at various locations. No prior experience is required, making it an excellent entry point into the healthcare industry. Phlebotomists will work in both Mobile Collections and Donor Center teams, providing essential services to the community while ensuring the safety and quality of blood products.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of general work experience or comparable education in the medical field.
• Customer service experience.

Nice To Haves

• Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience.
• Prior leadership experience.
• Bilingual (Spanish) skills.
• Motivated to become a designated van or CDL driver through company-sponsored programs.

Responsibilities

• Connect personally with donors and help them understand the impact of their donation.
• Create a friendly environment to encourage donors to return and bring friends/family to donate.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by being detail-oriented in blood collection.
• Set up and take down equipment at mobile blood drives.
