About the position

We are seeking a Senior DDC Engineer/Programmer to join our dynamic team at a leading facility engineering services company. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your technical expertise by independently resolving complex problems and guiding others. You will play a key role in team leadership, working closely with installers and other DDC technicians. Your excellent customer interaction skills will be essential in understanding current systems and making recommendations for enhancements. Additionally, you will collaborate with our Business Development and Service teams to expand new construction and service contracts. As a Senior DDC Engineer/Programmer, you will be responsible for complete technical competence on DDC systems, which includes designing and developing project Control Drawings. You will also be programming controllers and devices for Building Automation System projects, demonstrating strong knowledge of Building Control Sequences. Familiarity with BACnet system design and networks is crucial, as is experience with programming software for multiple controls manufacturers. Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical and control drawings is also required. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or a related field, along with 5-7 years of experience in servicing and programming DDC and HVAC systems. Requirements

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in Schneider, Delta, Niagara, or Alerton systems.
  • Willingness to travel (not required).
  • Minimum of 5 years with one employer (a plus).
