About the position

The Domino's Delivery Driver is responsible for providing excellent customer service while safely transporting orders to customers. This role involves assembling, loading, and delivering items while adhering to assigned routes and road safety protocols. The driver must ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and maintain a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Arrive to work on time, in complete uniform with a clean vehicle and a full tank of gas.
  • Assemble all items in order, ensuring all extras such as dipping cups and sodas are included in the order.
  • Route orders to yourself in the Pulse routing program within 1 minute of leaving the store.
  • Hustle safely to and from the store to the vehicle and from the vehicle to the customer's door.
  • Transport all hot items in proper heat bags and cold items in plastic T bags.
  • Load all items in orders assigned to you in a clean and safe vehicle approved for delivery with Domino's.
  • Drive safely to and from all assigned deliveries, obeying all traffic laws.
  • Collect money from customers and provide correct change.
  • Collect signatures for credit card and debit card transactions.
  • Keep track of cash and receipts, ensuring it balances at the end of the shift.
  • Use a drop box to keep cash in the bank bag under $20, with no money kept in the vehicle.
  • Listen to and resolve customer complaints, suggestions, and inquiries.
  • Keep the driver area stocked, organized, neat, and clean.
  • Assist in keeping box hutch and all other box stocking areas clean and stocked.
  • At close, check that the dining area is clean and stocked.
  • Ensure that heat bags are clean and free of rips and tears.
  • Sweep the floor regularly and mop when needed, with mopping required every night.
  • Wash dishes when no dishwasher is on shift.
  • Help cook food and work in the kitchen when necessary as backup.
  • Assist with taking phone, counter, or window orders as needed.
  • Perform general store cleaning.

Requirements

  • Own reliable transportation that is clean and free of debris.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow a map.
  • Able to pass a Criminal Background check and a Motor Vehicle Record check.
  • Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate required.
  • Ability to understand and work with numbers.
  • Ability to follow directions and achieve goals.
  • Demonstrate strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow a schedule, be on time, wear proper uniform, and work swiftly with smart hustle.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of clientele.
  • 2 years driving experience required for anyone age 18, 1 year for age 19+.
  • Customer service experience is helpful but not required.

Nice-to-haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree is a plus but not required.
  • Prior customer service experience.
