About The Position

The Delivery Services Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Delivery and Furniture Preparation departments at American Furniture Warehouse. This position involves verifying and processing payroll, checking in delivery drivers, managing inventory of work cell phones and delivery truck keys, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure efficient delivery operations and resolve inventory discrepancies.

Requirements

• Commitment to AFW's safety policies and procedures.
• 1 year of experience working for American Furniture Warehouse preferred but not required.
• Experience or knowledge of the Delivery Department processes and procedures.
• Ability to apply technology including Dispatch Track, iPads, Storis, Excel, and Windows.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude with strong inter-personal skills.
• Basic mathematic skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify and assist with processing payroll for the Delivery and Furniture Preparation departments.
• Check in Delivery Drivers upon their return from routes and verify all paperwork submitted.
• Inventory work cell phones, iPads, and delivery truck keys.
• Coordinate with Inventory Control and Delivery Return to Stock departments to resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Monitor and update the Truck Manifest (TKM) and Furniture Preparation Commission forms.
• Process add-ons, cancellations, and special delivery orders.
• Assist with inventorying tablets, fuel cards, truck keys, and other items as requested by management.
• Work effectively with multiple departments to improve processes and maximize efficiency.
