Lead our efforts to dominate AI-powered search landscapes while driving demand through SEO-optimized campaigns. This role merges technical SEO expertise with LLM-driven content strategies to generate high-intent leads and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Own the AI-Optimized discovery funnel: Drive strategy and execution for traffic acquisition via traditional search, generative search, AI chatbots (e.g. ChatGPT), and new answer engines (e.g. Perplexity).
  • Design content clusters (blogs, case studies, video scripts) that align with LLM preferences and drive lead nurturing.
  • Collaborate with Growth and Product Marketing teams to create and structure content that is authoritative, schema-rich, and structured to appear in LLM training sets, featured snippets, and retrieval-augmented generation contexts.
  • Ensure your brand appears in top citations and trusted sources used by AI tools by building relationships, improving topical authority, and leveraging structured data and knowledge graphs.
  • Develop strategies for visibility and engagement in zero-click environments, including summaries, answer cards, and AI-generated snapshots.
  • Drive technical SEO improvements, such as site speed optimization, structured data implementation, to enhance user experience and organic search rankings.
  • Lead technical audits to identify and address issues impacting Instawork’s search visibility and performance.
  • Develop programmatic SEO strategy and content that drives bottom-of-funnel traffic, leads, and revenue.
  • Run tests on content formats, schema markup, and AI tool prompts to understand how changes impact visibility and downstream conversions.
  • Report on AI-discovery metrics alongside traditional SEO KPIs. Track not just traffic, but influence in AI outputs, brand mentions, and assisted pipeline.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in SEO with proven success in demand generation and awareness building.
  • Expertise in technical SEO (site speed, indexing, structured data) and LLM optimization.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot/Salesforce.
  • Portfolio showing AI search wins (e.g., improved Gemini/Perplexity visibility).
