Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring proper techniques are followed for patient safety.
• Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for patient management and medical documentation.
• Conduct patient intake, including reviewing medical history and documenting relevant information.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Operate 3D scanners for imaging as required during procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with a solid understanding of general dentistry practices.
• Familiarity with anatomy knowledge related to dental health is essential.
• Experience with medical documentation processes is beneficial.
• Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix is advantageous.
• Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques, X-ray procedures, and 3D scanning technology is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
