About The Position

Cascada Dental Spa is looking for a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant to join their team in New York, NY. This role involves a variety of tasks including patient education, maintaining records, and managing dental instruments and equipment, all while adhering to OSHA standards.

Requirements

• Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program or 1-2 years minimum experience.
• Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Experience with ZOOM Whitening and iTero Scanning.
• Knowledge of prosthodontics, general dentistry, endodontics, and Invisalign.
• Familiarity with Open Dental and understanding of dental anatomy terminology.
• Experience with AI Overjet software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures by charting and setting up appointments.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to OSHA standards.
• Take digital dental x-rays.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care.
• Perform tasks such as iTero scanning, Zoom whitening, and making night guards.
• Manage inventory and supplies in the dental office.
