About the position

The CAD Designer is responsible for designing client models and processing digital files using various design software, including 3-Shape. The role involves evaluating case parameters to ensure compatibility with clinician prescriptions and designing restorations according to these prescriptions. The designs will include a range of materials such as zirconia, emax, pmma, composite, and metal.

Responsibilities

• Create implant restoration designs based on client prescriptions using 3-Shape or other CAD design software.
• Work from digital model files to design dental restorations that meet prescription parameters and comply with material tolerances.
• Maintain good verbal and written communication with team members.
• Meet daily design quotas as defined in the job description.
• Follow procedures and complete necessary documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a dental laboratory.
• Knowledge of 3-Shape, exocad, and other CAD/CAM design software is required.
• Demonstrate ability to complete assigned quotas in allotted time.
• Good reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others and adapt and learn on the job.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with CAD CAM for 3 years (Preferred)
