We are seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our high-touch and technology-driven general dentist practice located in the Kaheka and King Street area. This position is currently available for Tuesdays and Fridays, with the potential to develop into a full-time role in the future. Our office operates Monday through Friday, observing state and federal holiday schedules, and typically offers one three-day weekend per month. We pride ourselves on not being a typical dental office; our team members are high-performing and well-compensated. The current hygienist, who has been with us for seven years, is pursuing another opportunity, and we are looking for someone who can seamlessly continue the high level of patient care that our patients have come to expect. Candidates must possess an active Hawaii State Hygiene License or be in the process of obtaining one within the next three months. We value individuals who are people-oriented, possess excellent customer service skills, and have a great, outgoing attitude. Attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with patients about their dental conditions and potential treatments. Our practice is fully digital, utilizing Dentrix for practice management and Schick imaging for x-rays. We also employ advanced technology such as a diode laser unit and an Airflow unit for biofilm removal. While experience with these systems is beneficial, we prioritize personality and alignment with our vision over prior experience. Our scheduling is block-based, allowing flexibility in adding patients, with each hygienist allocated one hour per patient to ensure a comfortable office flow. Familiarity with Dentrix and this type of scheduling is a plus. Compensation is negotiable based on experience and fit, ranging from $40 to $58 per hour. In addition to the base hourly wage, our team enjoys the potential for performance-based daily cash bonuses and monthly bonuses, with team members averaging an additional $7 to $13 per hour for the entire 2023 calendar year. Our office specializes in surgical and reconstruction procedures, including full mouth implants and bone grafting, as well as fillings, same-day crowns, cosmetics, root canals, extractions, Invisalign, and single dental implants. We are equipped with advanced technology, including Dentrix digital charting, digital x-rays, an Airflow biofilm removal system, an in-office CBCT machine, CEREC, a Medit digital intra-oral scanner, ICAM photogrammetry for full arch dental implants, a zirconia milling machine, and 3D printing capabilities. We are looking for motivated team members eager to learn our office systems. Covered staff parking and opportunities for business and continuing education trips are provided to support our team's growth.
