About the position

The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring efficient and effective management of staff and resources. This role involves implementing policies and procedures, monitoring performance metrics, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare management and demonstrate excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all operational activities within the organization
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
• Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
• Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of operations
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors and suppliers
• Provide guidance and support to staff on operational issues
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate goals, objectives, and expectations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare management or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of human resources practices and procedures
• Familiarity with critical care operations and medical terminology
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic, eClinicalWorks)
• Previous experience working in a dental office is a plus
• Excellent fiscal management skills, including budgeting and financial analysis
• Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
