About the position

In this role, you will act as a patient advocate, assisting patients who may have concerns regarding their orthodontic treatment. Your primary responsibility will be to effectively educate patients on the benefits of orthodontic treatment, ensuring they understand the value and importance of the care they are receiving. You will prepare treatment plans and make financial arrangements in accordance with practice guidelines, which will involve preparing and presenting financial options to encourage patients to agree to comprehensive care options. This position requires a strong focus on patient communication and education, as well as the ability to navigate financial discussions with sensitivity and clarity. You will also be responsible for reviewing patients' clinical histories, which includes examining x-rays, notes, and images as needed to provide the best possible care. Flexibility in using technology is essential, as you will be required to utilize computers, the internet, spreadsheets, and other administrative tools to manage patient information and financial arrangements effectively. A key requirement for this position is proficiency in Eaglesoft, as it is a critical tool for managing patient records and financial information. Responsibilities

  • Act as a patient advocate, assisting patients with concerns.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years experience as a Dental Financial/Treatment Coordinator is required.
  • Knowledge in Eaglesoft is a must.
  • Electronic billing and billing knowledge is necessary.
  • Familiarity with financing options such as Care Credit and Lending Club is required.
  • Ability to review the patient's clinical history including x-rays, notes, and images.
