About the position

As a Department Manager at Nike, you will lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional customer service while driving store growth strategies. This role emphasizes the importance of training, coaching, and creating a positive work environment, ensuring that both customers and team members feel valued and included. You will be responsible for managing store operations, staffing, and product lifecycle, all while embodying the Nike brand and culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team to ensure seamless store operations.
• Attract, assess, and onboard new team members.
• Equip employees with the necessary tools for success in their roles.
• Manage business results and critical metrics, including budgeting and sales.
• Oversee product lifecycle from stockroom to visual merchandising and sales floor.

Requirements

• Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
• One year of leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit and lead high-performing teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, and standing for extended periods.
