About the position
The position involves reviewing and updating technical drawings and documentation to ensure compliance with export control regulations. The role requires collaboration with engineering and compliance teams to accurately classify drawings and maintain a database of updated documents. The candidate will utilize AutoCAD and CATIA for modifications and prepare reports on the progress of the remarking process.
Responsibilities
- Review existing technical drawings and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Remark drawings with correct ECCNs according to current export control regulations.
- Utilize AutoCAD and CATIA to modify and update drawings as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering and compliance teams to ensure proper classification.
- Maintain a database of updated drawings and their corresponding ECCNs.
- Prepare reports on progress and any issues encountered during the remarking process.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical documentation or drafting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and CATIA v5
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- US Citizen
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
