Responsibilities

• Streamline the software development lifecycle from requirements to monitoring in production.
• Incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to improve efficiency.
• Implement continuous integration and delivery to reduce manual testing and troubleshooting.
• Develop critical tools and ensure they are accessible to those who need them.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and supporting DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes involving scripting.
• Experience developing custom applications and supporting them in a production environment.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code environments.
• Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, and storage solutions.
• Knowledge of container security technologies and vulnerability management.
• Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to obtain a Security+ CE within 6 weeks of hire date.

Nice-to-haves

• 2+ years of experience managing tools deployed with Helm using ArgoCD or Flux.
• Experience developing in Java or Python.
• Experience with the design, deployment, and management of Cloud environments, including AWS or Azure.
• Experience using or migrating CI/CD pipeline solutions or tools, including Jenkins or Git.
• Experience with system integration using protocols like JSON, REST, and XML.
• Experience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby.
• Knowledge of cloud and virtualization-based technologies, including Docker, Azure, AWS, or VMware.
• Knowledge of Linux or UNIX administration and automation.
