About the position

As a DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you will develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets client needs and leverages cloud capabilities. Your role will involve creating container management software to address complex challenges faced by clients. You will strengthen your skills with the latest cloud technologies and improve client environments using current container software to ensure seamless orchestration. Your responsibilities will include informing strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process. You will also recommend resources to help clients manage and securely adopt containers, gaining valuable DevOps skills and experience in the process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a container platform that meets client needs.
  • Create container management software to solve client challenges.
  • Support the development of critical cloud platforms.
  • Inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process.
  • Recommend resources for clients to manage and securely adopt containers.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps maturity through automation of builds, regression testing, monitoring, and releases.
  • Experience troubleshooting CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness.
  • Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions.
  • Ability to create solutions to complex problems in a collaborative team environment.
  • Knowledge of developing, managing, and securing containers.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of continuous automation across multiple technical stacks.
  • Knowledge of continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of triaging issues in public cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Linux Shell Script.
  • Secret clearance.
