About The Position

The DevOps Support Admin at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation is responsible for the support, maintenance, and administration of the Bank's Source Code Management (SCM), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and DevOps tools. This role focuses on resolving technical issues, providing technical support, and conducting root cause analysis to enhance developer productivity and deployment efficiency. The position requires collaboration with internal and external teams across various technologies to meet user requirements and project needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 4+ years' experience with SCM, CI/CD, and DevSecOps Tools (cloud or on-prem).
• 3+ years' Unix/Linux systems administration and troubleshooting experience.
• 3+ years' scripting experience in languages such as Bash, Python, Groovy, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience supporting development teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience supporting and administrating Atlassian Jira Cloud is advantageous.
• Experience with Open-Source/Application Security scanning tools is a plus.
• Experience working in agile teams using Scrum or other agile methodologies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the administration and maintenance of SCM, CI/CD, and DevOps Tools.
• Provide operational support including installation, upgrades, and monitoring.
• Work with vendors and internal teams to investigate technical issues and provide solutions.
• Address key performance/technical problems and enhance tool effectiveness.
• Provide support for Atlassian cloud collaboration tools, Confluence and Jira.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve organizational goals.
• Manage priorities and multiple projects effectively.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for weekend maintenance or out-of-hours support as needed.
