From creating and implementing systems software to analyzing data to improve existing ones, the DevOps Engineer increases productivity in the workplace. They understand the software development lifecycle and have a clear understanding of various automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI/ CD pipelines). Come be a part of the development of the new Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW). The LRHW Software Team is seeking an experienced software engineer to support their DevSecOps infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Support the DevSecOps infrastructure for the LRHW Software Team.
  • Create and implement systems software.
  • Analyze data to improve existing systems.
  • Develop digital pipelines (CI/CD pipelines).

Requirements

  • Fundamental knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps processes and tools.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of continuous integration / continuous deployment methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in Linux Operating Systems.
  • Final Secret clearance required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Integration of embedded software.
  • Demonstrated experience in Shell scripting.
  • Experience with containers and orchestration.
  • Experience with virtualization such as VMWare.
  • Technical documentation creation and management.
