About the position

As a member of the Dickies Commercial Leadership team, the Director of Sales, Field will lead a team responsible for growing brand share and establishing strong partnerships with the top national, regional, and independent retail partners within the Americas region. This role collaborates closely with various internal and external teams to drive business growth and ensure operational efficiency. Internally, it works with Commercial Teams, Supply Planning & Demand Forecasting, Inventory Management, Customer Service, and Product & Dickies leadership. Externally, it establishes and maintains top-level contact with the management of existing and potential customers and partners. This position reports to Senior Director of Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the wholesale sales growth and continually strengthen the business of key accounts in this channel.
  • Support development and execution of strategic account plans while gaining cross-functional alignment to achieve goals.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the Sales Team including annual objective setting and performance plans.
  • Consistently lead preseason and in-season revenue forecasting efforts.
  • Execute against brand initiatives, including growth of pre-season order book.
  • Create comprehensive seasonal account plans from sell-in to sell-out.
  • Develop strong partnerships with top key retail accounts.
  • Provide critical marketplace input and trend information to the organization.
  • Partner with Regional Merchandising and Marketing teams to create and execute seasonal key account plans.
  • Consistently deliver strategies focused on elevated distribution for The Dickies brand.

Requirements

  • Strong familiarity with retail POS.
  • Holds existing relationships within the retail marketplace.
  • Analytical thinker, flexible problem solver, and team player with the ability to multitask several tasks simultaneously.
  • Able to communicate and present data and insights to varied stakeholders.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in wholesale sales with P&L responsibility.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred systems experience includes Power BI, Shiloh, Datalliance, SAP.
  • Proficient skills in MS Excel, Power Point, Access, Word.
