About the position

As a Body Shop Technician III at Penske, you will be responsible for performing minor truck and trailer collision repairs, with the opportunity to assist in major repairs under supervision. Responsibilities

• Perform minor electrical system repairs and surface preparation for refinishes.
• Assist in the removal, replacement, and repair of major components under supervision.
• Maintain work area appearance and safety standards.
• Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• 2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational/technical school preferred.
• Certification of completion of technical school specializing in truck and trailer repair/refinish preferred.
• Working knowledge of tools of trade including welding equipment, paint equipment, shop machines, and power tools preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to understand and comply with specific instructions and safety regulations.

• Experience with DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Familiarity with safety practices in a body shop environment.
