The Diesel Technician position at Fox & James involves performing maintenance and repairs on a fleet of late model trucks and trailers. Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and any needed repairs on the fleet.
- Utilize computers and diagnostic tools for electronic diagnosis of repairs.
- Perform routine preventive vehicle maintenance.
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components.
- Conduct quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer.
Requirements
- 1 year of previous experience as a mechanic preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- CDL license and refrigeration experience would be a plus.
- Ability to diagnose and repair late model class 5, 7, and 8 tractors and mid-range vehicles.
