About the position

Glenwell, a DePaul Senior Living Community is hiring a part-time Dietary Assistant to work 16 hours during the day shift. Hours for this opportunity are 6:30am - 3pm. Pay range for this opportunity is $16.00 - $16.30.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assuring that food preparation/sanitation practices and policies are followed in a safe environment.
• Assures that residents are prepared and served the diet prescribed by their physicians according to the menu of the day.
• Completes other duties as assigned by the Director of Dietary Services.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years experience in the food service industry preferred.
• Must have the required annual Tuberculosis (TB) testing and Annual Health Assessment.
• Must be aware of and apply the standards of sanitary food preparation.
• Must have the required references and criminal record check.
