Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, agribusiness, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Expert-level experience in compliance, auditing, or legal fields.
• Knowledge of federal and state laws, regulations, and compliance requirements specific to the financial industry and online lending.
• Ability to apply laws and regulations to the digital space.
• Adept legal advisory skills.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary compliance resource for the AgTech and Digital Delivery teams regarding legal and compliance-related questions.
• Provide advice on new digital initiatives and assess how regulatory changes may impact policies and procedures.
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable federal and state regulatory laws and standards in the digital space.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments of digital platforms and programs to identify compliance risks.
• Execute a testing and monitoring program for internal digital platforms and conduct periodic compliance audits on third-party AgTech partners.
• Identify and validate issues during testing to assess the effectiveness of controls and discuss corrective actions with the business.
