About the position

The Digital Marketing Manager, Paid Search at 1-800 Contacts is responsible for leading the paid search and display marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth. This role involves creating and executing high-impact marketing strategies, optimizing return on ad spend (ROAS), and ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. The manager will oversee campaign management, performance tracking, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve measurable growth and success in digital marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the paid search strategy across Google Ads, Bing, and other relevant platforms.
  • Own end-to-end campaign management, from strategic planning and execution to continuous optimization.
  • Develop and manage Display campaigns across Google Display Network and programmatic platforms.
  • Design and implement display remarketing and prospecting campaigns to support lead generation.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Regularly report on channel performance, translating data into actionable insights.
  • Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize campaigns to improve CTR, conversion rates, and ROAS.
  • Use A/B testing to refine ad copy, creative elements, keywords, audience segments, and landing pages.
  • Provide actionable performance insights and report on key metrics for both Paid Search and Display campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Content, and Product teams to develop compelling ad creative and copy.
  • Utilize sophisticated targeting methods and segmentation strategies across both search and display.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, focusing on paid search and display channels.
  • Proven success in achieving growth and revenue goals through Paid Search and Display.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in Google Analytics, Google Ads, and display management platforms.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong understanding of other digital marketing channels (SEO, Paid Social).
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and driven by a results-focused mindset.
