About the position

The Digital Marketing Manager at Marymount University is responsible for developing and executing digital marketing campaigns aimed at increasing engagement among key constituencies. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to increase engagement among key constituencies.
  • Produce, manage, and optimize marketing content across various platforms, including Marymount.edu, social media, email, SEO, and PPC.
  • Analyze and report on campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the content team to create engaging and relevant digital content that aligns with university messaging.
  • Oversee the management of the university's social media strategy to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement.
  • Coordinate email marketing efforts for internal and external audiences, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
  • Work closely with vendors and third-party platforms to implement marketing initiatives that meet quality and cost standards.
  • Stay up-to-date on digital marketing trends and best practices to ensure the university remains competitive in the digital landscape.
  • Provide strategic input on website enhancements and content management to improve user experience and SEO performance.
  • Identify and analyze target audiences for various campaigns to ensure effective messaging and outreach.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives that support the university's overall marketing and communication strategy.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, responding professionally to requests and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing, focusing on higher education or similar sectors.
  • Proven track record of managing successful digital marketing campaigns and projects.
  • Professional certifications in digital marketing (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, HubSpot, Facebook Blueprint) are preferred.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, social media strategies, SEO best practices, content creation, and data analytics.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems is a plus.
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Hootsuite, Mailchimp).
  • Experience with web content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
  • Strong writing and editing skills for digital content.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze data and create reports to inform strategic decisions.
