About the position

The Office of Postsecondary Financial Planning's (OPFP) is adding a Digital Marketing Specialist to their team. As the Digital Marketing Specialist, this position manages all aspects of OPFP web pages, which include any related to Michigan Guaranty Agency (MGA), Student Loan Programs (SLP), MiABLE, Financial Empowerment workgroup, Fostering Futures Scholarship Trust Fund (FFS), the loan component of the MI Future Educator Fellowship, and in coordination with Michigan Education Trust (MET), Michigan Education Savings Program (MESP) and Michigan 529 Advisor Plan (MAP), and any other future programs assigned to OPFP. This position will assist the Division Directors to achieve goals and objectives by ensuring efficient and secure collection, storing, and processing of the data necessary to support the Bureau's programs across all Divisions. The Specialist is responsible for highly complex assignments, with considerable impact on stakeholders' ability to gain access to key information as they prepare financially for postsecondary education. The Specialist oversees and maintains various web pages and related outlets, which includes researching, analyzing, reporting, and making key decisions on web content and marketing strategy in accordance with the OPFP's goals and objectives, as well as ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Requirements

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
  • Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level.
