About the position

Under direction from the Manager of Marketing & Communications, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the development, maintenance, and monitoring of digital communication initiatives and tools that promote our healthcare services, enhance our online presence, and engage with our target audience. This individual will manage and ensure department platforms are being fully leveraged to support marketing campaigns and organization goals including frederickhealth.org, provider and location listings, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Chatbot, and additional digital tools. This position requires a brand champion who can work across teams and support the key functions of digital marketing including website, email, and mobile marketing, reporting/analytics, SEO, and social media.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor digital communication initiatives and tools.
  • Promote healthcare services and enhance online presence.
  • Engage with target audience through various digital platforms.
  • Manage department platforms to support marketing campaigns and organizational goals.
  • Work across teams to support key functions of digital marketing.
  • Handle website, email, and mobile marketing.
  • Conduct reporting and analytics.
  • Manage SEO and social media efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Web Design, Graphic Design or related field.
  • Three years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms.
  • Digital marketing experience including SEO/SEM, Google My Business listings, email marketing, and social media platforms.
  • Content development experience including writing, scheduling, and project management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Working knowledge of web design and maintenance.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to identify solutions.
  • Motivated to lead teams and strategize.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of reporting and analytics.
  • Experience with social and digital management systems.
