About the position

The Digital Marketing Specialist at Ingersoll Rand is a pivotal role focused on enhancing digital marketing capabilities to drive business growth. This position is responsible for lead generation through various web initiatives, including brand websites, SEO, and SEM campaigns, specifically for the vacuum brands in North America. The role emphasizes a customer-centric approach to improve the overall digital experience and ensure effective lead management through CRM systems. Reporting directly to the Vacuum Marketing Manager, this position offers significant opportunities for leadership exposure and career development within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Own the business unit site strategy and governance in coordination with the central web development team.
  • Evaluate and execute website development roadmaps and enhancement projects to improve user experience.
  • Develop a comprehensive user journey experience improvement strategy.
  • Outline key strategic keywords and achieve regular SERP improvements via dedicated SEO strategies.
  • Ensure technical data is up to date and maintain product pages.
  • Add and modify web content using a CMS.
  • Identify opportunities and lead projects to introduce new tools and integrations, such as ChatBot and Sizing/Selection Tools.
  • Improve the digital experience across all touch points to maximize potential ROI.
  • Work with the product management team and agencies to develop and deliver an eCommerce strategy.
  • Collaborate with the central social media team to develop a comprehensive social media strategy.
  • Manage the web content ticket queue and maintain developer tickets in partnership with the central web support team.
  • Serve as a business unit stakeholder and subject matter expert for non-demand generation customer-facing applications.
  • Support marketing and sales to deliver profitable growth as a Lead Management Champion.
  • Lead the overall strategy and governance for paid search campaigns and optimize impact based on market conditions.
  • Lead the overall strategy and governance for content optimization across the global website.
  • Work with the distributor network to improve their digital customer experience and manage existing channel partner programs.
  • Report on and interpret website analytics using platforms like GA4 and identify opportunities to optimize program performance.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in digital marketing and integrated marketing.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience with CMS/CRM solutions, web optimization, email marketing, SEO/SEM, PPC, Google Analytics, content marketing, and interactive advertising.
