About the position

Michelli Weighing & Measurement is seeking a full-time Digital Marketing Specialist to lead marketing and customer development activities aimed at enhancing team building, customer service, and profitable sales. The role involves collaborating with product marketers and account managers to create and execute marketing strategies, manage digital presence, and support customer retention efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute marketing strategies and customer development campaigns in collaboration with product marketers and account managers.
  • Develop case studies and customer success stories based on input from account managers and management.
  • Conduct market research and monitor competitors to stay updated on market trends.
  • Develop a comprehensive marketing plan with short and long-term objectives.
  • Manage website properties, including design, development, and search engine optimization.
  • Create media placement strategies and campaigns for both digital and traditional advertising.
  • Perform graphic design and copywriting to produce marketing content and collateral.
  • Distribute marketing materials to account managers after obtaining manager approval.
  • Coordinate marketing support for events such as trade shows and conferences.
  • Research and present new software options to streamline prospecting and sales processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure high levels of customer service and timely problem resolution.
  • Prepare and review forecasts to meet financial targets and control operational costs.
  • Strive to meet ISO9001 Quality Management System objectives.
  • Follow directions from executive management and attend training sessions.
  • Meet deadlines and assist co-workers as time permits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience in marketing activities.
  • Experience in digital marketing including SEO, SEM, and SMM.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and graphic design.
  • Familiarity with Google webmaster tools and analytics is a plus.
  • Management training experience is a plus.
  • Strong customer service development skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Project management and personnel management experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in market research and competitor analysis.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
