About The Position

This position requires a dynamic and results-producing individual well versed in the full Google Suite of products. Specific areas of concentration include: Google Ads (AdWords), Performance Max, GDN (Google Display Network), retargeting, programmatic media buying and YouTube. You will play a critical role in developing and executing strategic digital marketing campaign initiatives for our 50+ Join Now Media clients to drive views, engagement and leads while maintaining favorable CPLs, CPVs and CPMs. This position is a cross-function of the overall Marketing and Digital Media department mission of driving leads, membership growth, revenue, brand awareness and strengthening community engagement for Retro Fitness and its franchisees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field (specific Digital Marketing experience preferred)
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Digital/Social marketing, preferably in fitness, restaurant or retail industries. Franchise experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of digital marketing channels and tools
  • Proven success leading G-Suite initiatives and campaigns. Google Ads (AdWords) experience required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, willingness to work as a team
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong project management skills, self-starter and independent thinker
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills (doesn’t wait to be told what to do)
  • Proficient in basic software package (Word, Excel, PPT)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily, weekly, monthly Search and Pmax bidding management
  • An understanding of the nuances between click-to-call and form-fill centric search campaigns, along with Day/Time optimization best practices
  • Budget management, spend and placement relative to client specific geotargeted and keyword strategies
  • Data analytics, reporting and strategic optimization
  • Works with content and graphics managers to ensure seamless creative and messaging delivery
  • Shifts content when necessary
  • Ensures accuracy and appropriate tracking mechanisms
  • Manages platform intelligence
  • Stays abreast of Google Suite updates, technology changes and new Digital Marketing resources
  • Has a strong understanding of keyword search volume estimating and rankings, algorithms and guidelines
  • Works closely with the Join Now Media account management team to deliver accurate data pull
  • Provides performance summaries and performance recommendations for optimization
  • Assists with account audits and deck preparation
  • Keeps the VPM abreast of account performance and budget pacing
  • Ability to perform keyword research with tools like SEMrush
