About the position

The Digital Media & Communications Coordinator at FC Tucson is responsible for executing marketing strategies that enhance the visibility and engagement of the club's brand across digital platforms. This part-time role involves managing social media content, coordinating digital campaigns, and ensuring brand consistency while capturing on-site content and collaborating with various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of FC Tucson's digital content strategy and visual brand.
  • Serve as an on-site club brand ambassador and safeguard brand standards.
  • Maintain a comprehensive content calendar across all FC Tucson social channels.
  • Identify opportunities and trends for social media content.
  • Script, capture, edit, and deliver creative photographs and videos for various club initiatives.
  • Conduct player and staff interviews and draft press releases and match reports.
  • Manage email campaigns end-to-end, ensuring quality and segmentation.
  • Coordinate with leadership on reporting digital content KPIs and insights.
  • Work closely with all departments to meet social media objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to budgets and marketing campaign objectives.

Requirements

  • Significant experience with management and curation of social media platforms.
  • Minimum 2-year college degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and social media platforms required.
  • Experience in working with Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent programs is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Resourceful with the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Team-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Passion for soccer or sports.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to speak Spanish is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience working for a professional, pre-professional, collegiate or youth organization preferred but not required.
