About the position

The Digital Media Production Adjunct Faculty position at the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) involves teaching courses in Media Literacy, Media and Video Production, Digital Filmmaking, and Editing. The role requires facilitating learning through effective instruction, collaboration with college support staff, and coordination with the Program Director or Coordinator. This position is available for day, evening, weekend, and online classes across multiple campuses.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning through preparation and delivery of instruction.
• Cooperate with College support staff in timely submission of materials and grades.
• Coordinate activities with the Program Director or Coordinator.
• Develop a course syllabus in accordance with program and College policies.
• Employ a variety of teaching strategies to meet a diverse student population.
• Monitor student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Ensure program-specific evaluation methods are administered consistently.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Electronic Media and Film, Digital Media Production, Video Production; or Bachelor's Degree in discipline with seven years of professional experience and a portfolio.
• Two years of teaching experience.
• Experience using classroom technology and learning management systems preferred.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Prior college teaching experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of screenplay writing and formatting preferred.
