About the position

The Digital Product Designer role at Azul Arc involves leading the design of websites and applications, focusing on creating visually engaging and user-friendly digital platforms. The position requires collaboration with clients, product managers, and developers to ensure designs are feasible and meet user needs. The designer will also manage design systems and contribute to evolving design processes within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead website design engagements from initial opportunity through handoff to development.
• Design mobile and web applications in collaboration with front-end developers and product managers.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, effectively communicating design decisions.
• Develop and manage design systems for clients, ensuring visual and functional consistency.
• Collaborate with developers and designers for seamless implementation of designs.
• Maintain design assets and contribute to design system documentation.
• Stay updated on design trends and technologies for innovative solutions.
• Contribute to evolving design processes, methods, and tools.
• Present and articulate design ideas to business stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of industry experience relevant to the role responsibilities.
• Proven experience in web design with a strong portfolio showcasing web projects and design systems.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, typography, color theory, and layout principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills focused on design rationale.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards in UI design.
• Familiarity with Figma and management of design systems.
• Experience managing or contributing to design systems for large-scale products.
• Ability to work across teams and manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JS).
• Energetic professional with proven interpersonal skills.
