About the position

Barclays Services Corp. seeks Digital Product Owner in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available). The role involves overseeing the development and implementation of strategic banking projects, developing innovative solutions to complex problems, and managing a complex group of stakeholders. The position requires implementing complex software projects in a fast-paced environment, engaging with external technology vendors and internal teams, and contributing to technology strategy. The Digital Product Owner will utilize knowledge of Agile methodologies and enterprise architectures, ensuring a full understanding of processes, risks, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and implementation of strategic banking projects.
• Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Manage a complex group of engineering, business development, engineering and research stakeholders.
• Implement complex software projects in a fast-paced and flexible environment.
• Engage with external technology vendors and internal technology teams to deliver change successfully.
• Contribute to technology strategy and leverage existing capabilities.
• Utilize knowledge of Agile methodologies and supporting tools.
• Ensure a full end-to-end understanding of processes, risks, and controls.
• Provide subject matter expertise to support collaboration between product owners and technical teams.
• Support the development and implementation of the product strategy and vision.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements.
• Develop and implement assessments for continuous testing and improvement of product quality.
• Monitor product performance to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends.

Requirements

• Experience in overseeing strategic banking projects.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of enterprise architectures, integration patterns, cloud computing, encryption, and API security.
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder groups.
• Experience in implementing software projects in a fast-paced environment.
