Digital Product Owner

About the position

To collaborate with product owners and other technical teams involved in the product development process and utilise their knowledge of the bank’s technologies to enact the vision defined in the product roadmap. The role involves providing subject matter expertise to support collaboration between the product owner and the technical side of product development, supporting the development and implementation of the product strategy and vision, and communicating them with relevant stakeholders and the development team. The position also requires collaboration with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements and features based on business value and feasibility, as well as monitoring product performance to identify opportunities for optimisation that meet the bank's performance standards. Staying abreast of the latest industry technology trends is essential to evaluate and adopt new approaches to improve product development and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provision of subject matter expertise to support collaboration between the product owner and technical teams.
• Support the development and implementation of the product strategy and vision defined in the product roadmap.
• Communicate product strategy and vision with relevant stakeholders and the development team.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements and features.
• Develop and implement assessments to ensure continuous testing and improvement of product quality and performance.
• Monitor product performance to identify opportunities for optimisation.
• Stay updated on the latest industry technology trends and evaluate new approaches for product development.

Requirements

• Experience in overseeing the development and implementation of strategic banking projects.
• Ability to manage a complex group of engineering, business development, and research stakeholders.
• Experience in implementing complex software projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and supporting tools.
• Deep understanding of enterprise architectures, integration patterns, cloud computing, encryption, and API security.
