About the position

The Sr. Digital Project Manager at Caterpillar Inc. is responsible for the successful completion of digital projects, ensuring they are delivered on-time, within budget, and error-free. This role involves managing project teams, overseeing project planning and execution, and serving as the primary communicator with clients and stakeholders. The position requires advanced knowledge of marketing and digital processes, as well as the ability to mentor less experienced project managers.

Responsibilities

• Manage project teams comprised of digital, marketing, and business resources.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced Digital Project Managers.
• Oversee the planning, organization, and implementation of multiple complex digital projects.
• Guide cross-functional teams in executing projects using marketing and digital knowledge.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently and ensure successful completion.
• Communicate project status to clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong marketing, digital, or communications background.
• College or university degree or equivalent working experience.
• Project Management experience with PMP Certification preferred.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Excel, and/or MS Project.
• Five to seven years of job-related experience preferred.
• Advanced human relations skills for cooperative working relationships.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with agile process management.
• In-depth knowledge of Caterpillar functional areas, policies, and procedures.
