About the position

The Director Government Programs Compliance Officer at Cambia Health Solutions is responsible for leading the company's compliance efforts related to government programs, including Medicare and Federal Employee Programs. This role involves developing and overseeing compliance with various contracts, coordinating compliance activities, and collaborating with leadership across multiple divisions to ensure adherence to regulations and policies. The position emphasizes a commitment to creating a sustainable healthcare system while fostering a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the company's Government Programs Compliance efforts, including Medicare Compliance and Federal Employee Program compliance.
  • Develop and oversee compliance with Medicare Part C and Part D contracts, MediGap, and FEP.
  • Coordinate and implement compliance activities in partnership with leadership across various divisions.
  • Maintain a high level of compliance in service of creating an economically sustainable healthcare system.
  • Support and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Requirements

  • J.D. or Master's degree in health care administration, public service administration, or a related field.
  • Seven years of work experience in personnel management and compliance-related activities, legislative and regulatory activities, health insurance operations, or legal research, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to delegate, coordinate, and motivate staff.
  • Superb judgment, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of health plan and Medicare legislation and regulations, including government contract benefits policies and practices.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience with Medicare health care products is preferred.
  • Knowledge of government regulations related to Medicare health care programs and compliance principles.
