About The Position

The Director of Software Engineering at Palo Alto Networks will lead the development of advanced AI and Machine Learning solutions to enhance network security. Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent military experience.
• 10+ years of industry experience in Machine Learning techniques and data analytics.
• 10+ years of experience in design, algorithms, and data structures, with expertise in Java, Python, or Golang.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Design.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with NLP, Large Language Models, Generative AI, Langchain, and Transformer models.
• Experience working with Google Vertex AI platform.
• Strong understanding of ML Ops best practices.
