About the position

The Director, Advanced & Omnichannel Analytics at Eisai will play a pivotal role in the Business Intelligence team, focusing on creating commercial market insights that align with the company's human healthcare mission. This position involves developing predictive analytical models using machine learning and AI to enhance data-driven decision-making and improve customer experiences. The director will shape the analytics strategy, collaborate with various teams, and lead initiatives to transition from historical reporting to predictive analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the use of advanced analytical techniques to monitor demand shifts and measure performance.
  • Advance organizational capability in modern data analytic applications and best practices.
  • Utilize expertise in univariate and multivariate techniques for data analysis.
  • Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making processes across the enterprise.
  • Develop promotional investment strategies and guide investment decisions based on analysis.
  • Create KPIs and ROI measurements to optimize promotional channels and inform brand planning.
  • Leverage innovative analytic models to address critical business issues.
  • Utilize segmentation insights to personalize marketing content and analyze customer behavior.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop targeted strategies for integrated omnichannel promotion.
  • Define and measure KPIs to assess the effectiveness of omnichannel marketing campaigns.
  • Propose analytical solutions to business inquiries and implement suggested methods.
  • Provide strong analyses that include insights, proposals, and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience with statistics and advanced analytics supporting marketing applications.
  • Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, particularly in Oncology or Institutional Care products.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially to senior management.
  • Proven ability to analyze large data sets and provide key business insights.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools.
  • Experience analyzing customer behaviors to identify audience segments.
  • Experience leading projects or project teams.
  • Considerable experience solving business problems with advanced analytics.
  • Proven experience in statistical analysis and predictive modeling using R, SPSS, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods including Bayesian Networks and regression analysis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in a related field.
  • Familiarity with frequently used pharmaceutical data sources.
  • 5 years of progressive experience in Data Analytics and Omnichannel Enablement in a healthcare or pharmaceutical environment.
