About The Position

Manage a team of professionals to design and deliver training that supports the organization's strategy, values, and goals, providing employees with the necessary tools and information required to complete their tasks successfully.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent level.
  • Wide and deep experience providing expert competence (over 10 years to 15 years).
  • Experience of planning, managing, and organizing resources within short/medium timescales (over 6 years to 10 years).

Responsibilities

  • Designs and manages the development of complex L&D programs to meet individual and organizational learning needs within specified timescales and resources.
  • Manages the delivery of complex L&D programs to ensure the engagement of learners and achievement of intended learning outcomes.
  • Engages with functional senior line management to clarify organizational requirements and set priorities for L&D interventions.
  • Specifies, develops, and tests HR data-collection procedures and tools to meet defined key principles and ensure compliance with external requirements.
  • Communicates the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the team.
  • Uses the organization's formal development framework to identify the team's individual development needs.
  • Participates in the selection of external consultants or advisers to deliver key projects and/or ad hoc services.
  • Manages and reports on the performance of a substantial, diverse team.
  • Makes sense of complex, high-quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
  • Develops people to meet both their career goals and the organization's goals.
  • Develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Creates a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives.
