The Director of Finance plays a key role within Optum Insight, a fast-paced, high growth, exciting organization. This role will be supporting the Northeast Provider Market team and Market Performance Partnerships with matrixed partners in the analytic COEs (Revenue, Expense, FP&A, Accounting, Investment Analytics. This role reports to the OI Provider Revenue Services VP. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Responsibilities
- Leadership role within the Optum Insight Provider Business Finance team
- Support the Northeast Provider Market to drive profitable growth, be an advocate for the business in the highly matrixed Optum Insight organization, partner with the business to identify growth and profitability levers
- Provide financial leadership supporting some of our largest and most strategic outsourcing partnerships
- Review and approve pricing for deals, be a thought leader to drive growth and increased profitability
- Manage and approve headcount, ensuring staffing is appropriate to meet external and internal commitments
- Continue the development of analytical insights and impactful reporting and dashboard to provide greater meaning to financial results
- Provide business insights and messaging that can help drive meaningful change
- Engage on end-to-end process improvements to drive accurate projections by being the face of the finance team within the market
- Assist with new MPP client onboarding and ensure a smooth transition from solution design
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in finance or equivalent field
- 8+ years finance experience
- 5+ years of managerial experience
- Budgeting and forecasting experience
- Proven executive communication and presentation skills
