About the position

As the Director of Finance at Mainstream Nonprofit Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the Finance Department functions within our organization. Mainstream Nonprofit Solutions is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing efficient and effective administrative services that enable nonprofits and small businesses to focus on their clients' needs. In this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department, ensuring that all financial processes are executed smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions. You will also supervise the Finance Department staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that departmental priorities and plans are developed and maintained effectively. Your strong organizational abilities will be essential in planning, delegating, and facilitating tasks within the department. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in accounts receivable, payable, and payroll functions required.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Strong organizational abilities including planning, delegating, program development, and task facilitation.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and meet agency underwriting standards.
