As FinanceDirector you'll: Supervise Finance Department staff. - Direct day-to-day financialactivities to be complete, accurate, and timely. Be responsible forthe accounts receivable, payable, and payroll functions. Developand maintain Finance Department priorities and plans. Completein-depth financial analysis of Agency departments. - Preparefinancial management reports and submit for review/action. Provideguidance, support and coaching to further development of financestaff. Ensure all organizational financial activities are carriedout in compliance with local, state and federal regulations andlaws - -governing business operations. Travel to attend meetings,training, or conduct business off site. Must have a valid driver'slicense and meet agency underwriting standards if driving on agencybusiness. Make a difference in the lives of children and families.- Your Qualifications are:Supervisory experience is required. -Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred. -Strong organizational abilities including planning, delegating,program development and task facilitation. Ability to work wellunder pressure and meet deadlines. - Minimum of two years'experience in general accounting. CPA license preferred. - Your PRESENTATION SKILLS are:Ability to read, analyze and interpretcommon scientific and technical journals, and legal documents.Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints fromcustomers, regulatory agencies, or members of the businesscommunity. Ability to write speeches and articles for publicationthat conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectivelypresent information to top management, public groups and/or Boardof Finance Directors. - Your FINANCIAL/COMPUTATIVE SKILLS are:Ability to read and interpretfinancial statements, budgets, audit reports, etc. Ability toperform basic mathematical operations such as discounts, interest,commissions, proportions, percentage, area, etc. Ability to applyconcepts of basic algebra, geometry, and statistics. Familiaritywith computers and their capabilities. - Your ANALYTICAL ABILITY is:Ability to define problems, collectdata, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
