Director II Finance

About the position

The Director II Finance is responsible for financial oversight of multi-region business unit. Works closely with all levels of the regional and corporate accounting, cost and budget, and reporting and analysis areas to ensure the integrity of the financial results of the business unit.

Responsibilities

• Oversees financial reporting process including coordination with all regions and corporate office.
• Reviews, analyzes, reports, and presents financial results.
• Provides decision support for business unit President and senior management teams operational and business goals.
• Oversees overall budget, forecast, and cost allocation processes.
• Provides visible sponsorship and guidance for major change initiatives.
• Provides financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions through financial modeling and ROI analyses.
• Supports the delivery of regular financial reports to regulators, ensuring that these reports accurately represent the company's financial position and comply with GAAP and SOX standards and regulations.
• Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Requirements

• Requires a BA/BS in accounting or finance.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in accounting, financial reporting, business analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic and tactical planning within a health insurance/managed care environment.
• Prior management experience.
