About the position

The Director of Logistics & Supply Chain is responsible for leading the development, design, implementation, and continuous improvement of inventory management for parts and equipment across the Tech24 enterprise. This role focuses on optimizing critical assets, enhancing performance through analytical methodologies, and fostering sustainable vendor relationships. The incumbent will manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while promoting a collaborative team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of inventory management strategies.
  • Optimize critical assets such as tools, buildings, and capital equipment.
  • Utilize supply chain models for demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
  • Collaborate with procurement, operations, and sales teams to forecast inventory needs.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of inventory from flow to capacity allocation and returns.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure reliable and cost-effective inventory supply.
  • Infuse statistical computing languages for inventory management analyses.
  • Control key inventory health metrics and engage with warehouse teams.
  • Drive safety performance and ensure compliance with ethical practices.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of inventory and data analytics experience.
  • 2-5 years of related industry experience, preferably in the service industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain and Inventory Management best practices.
  • Proficient with data analytical tools and business software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Strong problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

Nice-to-haves

  • APICS certification - ASCM preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
