The Director of Client Partnerships at RACER Media & Marketing is a pivotal role focused on driving revenue growth and innovation within the motorsports media sector. This position involves building strong relationships with automotive brands, managing the entire sales cycle, and creating customized media solutions that leverage RACER's diverse offerings. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment with minimal bureaucracy, aiming for significant financial rewards based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and engage prospective advertisers and partners for RACER's media platforms.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' business goals and communicate the unique value that RACER Media provides.
  • Create comprehensive, cross-platform media strategies that integrate RACER's digital presence, premium print content, and influencer-driven initiatives delivering immersive, multi-touchpoint campaigns.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including editorial, content creators, and production, to craft compelling presentations and proposals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and the motorsports market to position RACER as a leader in motorsports media.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage and track account progress, track sales forecasts, and maintain client communication.
  • Represent RACER at key industry events, trade shows, and meetings to build brand awareness and foster client relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in advertising media sales.
  • 5+ years of strategic media sales experience, with a proven track record in consultative sales.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, especially executives and decision-makers.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex media solutions.
  • Experience with prospecting, cold calling, and managing a full sales cycle.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the motorsports or automotive industry is preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data and use insights to drive sales strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
