Cirrus Aircraft is seeking a Director of Finance Business Partnering to join our team in Duluth, MN. This role is pivotal in leading the financial strategy and performance improvements across various business units, particularly within the Customer Experience Team and Innovation & Operations. The Director will oversee a team of analysts, guiding them in their efforts to enhance profitability, predictability, and adherence to business planning. This position is not only about managing financial operations but also about fostering a culture of collaboration and mentorship within the team, preparing them for future leadership roles. The Director will be responsible for providing variance reporting against budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans, identifying gaps and risks, and proposing countermeasures. They will design test cases for significant business decisions to validate hypotheses and expected outcomes. A key aspect of this role is to distill complex financial concepts into actionable insights for senior business leaders, ensuring that financial considerations are integrated into all business decisions. Collaboration is essential in this role, as the Director will work closely with the accounting team to analyze results, identify inefficiencies, and enhance reporting processes. They will also partner with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) during all planning cycles, including budgeting and forecasting, to support business units in rationalizing their plans. The Director will play a crucial role in facilitating the entry into new lines of business and ensuring that Cirrus engages in long-term, profitable expansion. Additionally, the Director will act as a liaison between FP&A, Accounting, and Business Units to develop actionable reporting and dashboards in Power BI, enabling the tracking of business health and performance indicators. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to build consensus across various departments to deliver effective solutions. Regular attendance and a willingness to travel, estimated at 25%, including international travel, are essential for this position.
