Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage the general ledger accounting process, including accrual accounting and accounts receivable functions.
• Develop and implement cost management strategies to optimize resource allocation and enhance profitability.
• Conduct risk management assessments to identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide insights on corporate finance matters, including capital structure, funding strategies, and investment opportunities.
• Lead the budgeting process, coordinating with department heads to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing regular reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to financial reporting and accounting practices.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in finance, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of accrual accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in general ledger accounting and technical accounting standards.
• In-depth understanding of financial concepts, including corporate finance, cost management, and cost control methodologies.
• Experience in preparing comprehensive financial statements and reports for stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and present findings clearly to non-financial audiences.
• Excellent risk management skills with a proactive approach to identifying potential issues.
• Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and collaboration across departments.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
