About the position

The Director of Finance has financial accountability, authority, and responsibility for an assigned area of AH Redmond. The Director fosters the integration of the organization's vision and values, and accomplishes the mission and strategic plan through an accountable work team. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the Director collaborates with patients/customers, families, physicians, administration, and associates to meet customer needs and expectations in a patient focused and healing environment. The position will report to the VP/CFO of AH Redmond.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, produce, compile, and present information for the benefit of management and financial decision making.
• Assess, develop and implement financial policies and processes.
• Assist the CFO with organization and management of assigned departments, administration and program development.
• Manage established programs and policies of the Southeast Region General Accounting Office.
• Participate in monthly financial close.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of the Medicare and Medicaid prior year cost reports annually.
• Collaborate with Southeast Region General Accounting Office to ensure service standards and needs are met.
• Provide active feedback and assist in the development of the Regional Accounting.
• Develop, implement and assist managers/directors in utilizing systems and reports to ensure departments function within budgeted guidelines.
• Perform delegated functions in compliance with hospital and departmental policies.
• Manage the development of the annual operating budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2-5 years of experience in financial activities/responsibilities
