About The Position

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Manufacturing to lead and optimize our production operations in West Palm Beach, FL. This key leadership role involves driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with NEC and UL891 standards, and managing a skilled team of Electricians, Mechanical Assemblers, and other manufacturing professionals. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in industrial electrical wiring, metal fabrication, press brakes, laser cutters, bus bar bending machines, electrical systems, warehousing, and production design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 8 years of experience in manufacturing operations
• Expertise in industrial electrical wiring, metal fabrication, and related processes
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• In-depth knowledge of NEC and UL891 standards

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, including metal fabrication, CNC machine operation, busbar bending, assembly, wiring, and testing.
• Ensure that manufacturing processes and products adhere to NEC, UL891, and other standards and relevant regulations, maintaining the highest level of quality and safety.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity through the implementation of lean manufacturing principles.
• Expert level understanding of electrical systems and components as related to Transformers, Switchboards, and Switchgear is essential.
• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Lead and manage the manufacturing team to meet production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance, to streamline processes and improve product quality.
• Manage manufacturing budget, resources, and capacity planning to meet business demands.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
